PTKSR Grant Program

PTKSR Kinetic Sculpture Grant – 2023

The GREAT Port Townsend Bay Kinetic Sculpture Race (PTKSR) is pleased to announce PTKSR Kinetic Sculpture Grant program designed to help racers “get to the race!”  Our intent is to provide grants to successful applicants that will aid a race team: to build a kinetic sculpture, repair or upgrade an old sculpture, make art or have funds to get to a race or a parade. We believe that this grant program will help grow our race and will bring new racers and glorious spectators to our festival.   Applicants who provide the following information for first review by April 1, 2023, will be considered for a “once a year” grant. The deadline for this years grant awards is September 10, 2023.  Those who are selected will receive half of their grant up front upon providing receipts and the other half after the event they applied for.  Successful applicants will be required to show for the Port Townsend Kinetic Race the first weekend in October, act as goodwill ambassador for PTKSR and be required to fill out a W9 if grant is over $600.
