The Great Port Townsend Bay Kinetic Sculpture Race is free and open to the public. Bring the whole family , kids, dogs, grandparents, and anyone who has ever wanted to watch a giant mechanical tortoise attempt to cross the bay. October 3 and 4, 2026 in downtown Port Townsend, Washington.

Accessibility
The race takes place across public streets and waterfront areas of Port Townsend. Most spectator viewing areas are accessible, though some terrain near the mud pit and water crossing may be uneven.
