Be Part of the Race

The Kinetic Sculpture Race is entirely volunteer-run and community-powered. Without the people who show up to help, there is no race. Whether you have a few hours or want to take on a bigger role, there is a place for you.

Volunteer

We need volunteers for race weekend and the months leading up to it. Roles include:

●Kourse marshals and checkpoint monitors

●Pre-race inspection crew

●Water crossing and mud pit safety team

●Photography and social media

●Setup, breakdown, and cleanup crew

Help Plan the Race

Our planning committees meet year-round. Whether you want to help with logistics, outreach, sponsorship, or the awards ceremony, there is a committee for you:

●Event Logistics Committee

●Racer Support and Education Committee

●Sponsorship and Fundraising Committee

●Community Outreach and Communications Committee

Other Ways to Participate

●Build or join a racing team: everyone from beginners to veterans is welcome

●Sponsor the race or donate to support a racer

●Spread the word: share on social, tell your neighbors, bring your people

●Donate materials, tools, or workspace to teams who need it
