One Glorious Night
On Saturday night, after the parade, the brake test, and the water portion of the race, the crowd gathers at the American Legion Hall to crown a brand-new Rosehips Kween. It is the beating heart of race weekend: a costume ball with live music, dancing well into the night, and a pageant unlike anything you have ever seen. Put on your finest, your weirdest, or both.
This year’s theme is Flora & Fauna. Come dressed as your favorite creature, plant, or whatever strange thing you evolved into after a day of kinetic racing.
